Madagascar 3: Europe’s most wanted is yet another Madagascar series… Scores better than 2 in many parts but still fails to create the magic like the first one. The movie is brilliant in parts like the chasing sequence in Monte Carlo… And dragging in a few… Overall you could watch it once… Kids would love the visuals and favorite characters doing what they are best at!

Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Eppadi – A decent attempt in making a short film into a full length movie. Certain movies need to be kept precise this is one of it. The first half is too lengthy and dragging… Although nth adoption of Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus it is still worth the watch for its freshness and first person narration…

Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola – Vishal Bharadwaj has been very successful in tickling the funny bones …. Unlike Kaminey the movie revolves around a social issue… It is a well made satire with talented ensemble casts, brilliant music and engaging screenplay. If you can understand the Haryanvi hindi you would enjoy it even better… I wished the movie had captions as it was difficult to follow the slang in multiple scenes… Despite that … it is a wholesome entertainer that leaves a strong social message with you… Go for it…

Mayakkam Enna – Selvaraghavan is back on his home ground and hits a six… It has all the ingredients of Selva’s movie mixed well… The background score is the soul of the movie… First half belongs to Dhanush and second half to Richa… Her character makes a remarkable impact at the end… A job done well!

Ezham Arivu – worth a watch entertainer with commendable performance by Suriya and able direction from Murugadoss. “India had a rich cultural heritage and people not only excelled in arts but also in science. However this has been lost over many invasions and forgotten” has been the message. However this gets diverted by too much emphasis on the problems of Tamizhs which this story does not intend to convey but has been thrust into the dialogues. Otherwise it has all the components to entertain a wide range of audience…

Mankatha – good casting, decent plot but poor execution. The scenes are too long and slow for a movie of this genre and too many twists spoil the fun… But for Ajith doing a baddie there is nothing in the movie… “Don’t gimme any more!”

Delhi Belly – If you can with stand Gross-out humor you will enjoy this movie… Very different attempt in Bollywood and good build up to the story as it progresses… In short if you have watched Snatch… this one is Snatch with Gross-out humor with Delhi background… I hate this movie (like I love it) 😉
